Sr. Engineering Project Manager

Embrace the challenge of creating innovative solutions that optimize aircraft designs across various subsystems, all while managing project schedules, coordinating with organizational departments, and liaising with FAA and DERs.Responsibilities:Lead and manage the design engineering team.Develop and maintain project schedules for engineering projects.Coordinate project schedules across various departments.Oversee program interfaces with the FAA and DERs.Drive improvement initiatives across departments.Enhance interdepartmental processes.Recruit, train, and cultivate team members.Report directly to the VP of Engineering.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 10+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years of experience.Minimum 5 years of managerial experience.Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD, EPDM, and Microsoft Office tools.Knowledge of ANSI/ASME Y14.5 drafting standards and GD&T/FT&A.Proficiency in SolidWorks Simulation for Fatigue and Stress analysis.Experience with aircraft integration and certification, FAR Part 23 or 25, systems engineering, and FAA regulations.Strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities.Ability to coordinate with FAA, DERs, and customers.Benefits:Competitive Salary Range (Negotiable based on experience and qualifications).Comprehensive Insurance including Health, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD.Generous Vacation and Sick Pay.Holiday Pay.401(k) Retirement Plan.If you are a self-driven individual with a passion for aircraft design and a talent for project management, we invite you to apply and be a part of our progressive aerospace engineering team in Albany, GA.
