Phlebotomist / Donor Screener

About the role Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high-quality plasma you collect will become life-changing medicines. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will perform as a plasma donor screener and phlebotomy to support plasma center operations. How you will contribute Answer phones, greet and focus on donors, ensuring safety of donors and team. Screen new and repeat donors, take and record vital signs and finger stick results. Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, coordinate donor compensation. Help identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company approved procedures. Work a variety of shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, holidays. What you bring to Takeda High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift. Will work evenings, weekends and holidays. Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch and reach above shoulders and below knees. Capability to lift 5 lbs. and occasionally up to 32 lbs.; rarely 50 lbs. Fine motor coordination, depth perception, ability to hear equipment from a distance. 90% of tasks require prolonged glove wear due to risk level 1 exposure to bloodborne pathogens. 1+ year minimum experience in customer or patient facing role is helpful. Eligible for short-term incentives and benefits such as medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, short-term and long-term disability, basic life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, well-being benefits.
