Our services include partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. We offer acute psychiatric, detox, and PTSD treatment. We are located in picturesque Marion County, FL. Job Summary

The Intake Counselor is responsible for managing all aspects of the intake and admission process at The Vines Hospital, including handling inquiry calls, coordinating with referral sources, assessing patient needs, and facilitating the admission of individuals. They ensure that all necessary documentation is completed and that patients receive the appropriate care recommendations. Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the intake and admission process.
• Assess the mental status of patients and provide care recommendations to physicians.
• Manage concord submissions.
• Identify insurance benefits and complete all admission requirements.
• Maintain patient safety concerns and communicate with nursing staff as needed.
• Document all necessary information in Med Series 4
• Assist in crisis intervention and provide support during patient intake
• Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Education: Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related behavioral health field.

Experience : Minimum of two (2) years experience in the mental health field preferred. Previous assessment experience required.
