We are partnering with a respected organization in the Murfreesboro area to identify a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist. This position plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments while supporting overall accounting operations. Key Responsibilities - Accounts Payable Specialist

• Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and filing systems
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and account issues
• Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures

Qualifications - Accounts Payable Specialist

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• 2+ years of accounts payable or accounting support experience preferred
• Experience processing a high volume of invoices in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to communicate professionally with vendors and internal teams
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and three-way matching is a plus
