Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Oregon SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Relevant experience providing pediatric and school-based speech therapy services, especially at the secondary/high school level
- Ability to develop, implement, and document Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills for working with students, parents, and school staff
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide speech-language therapy to high school students
- Develop individualized therapy plans and set achievable goals tailored to student needs
- Document student progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with state and district requirements
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and parents to support educational success
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student services
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for students facing communication challenges
