Exciting Opportunity for Travel RN - PCU at a Level 1 Trauma Center!

Job Description:


- Shift: 07:00 - 19:00
- Unit: Multi Trauma Unit (MTU)
- Location: Englewood, CO
- Number of Beds: 20
- Number of Staff: 40

Unit Highlights:


- Dynamic Team Environment:
- 1 charge nurse and 5 nurses on day shift
- 1 charge nurse and 5 nurses on night shift
- 3 techs during the day and 2 techs at night


- Patient Ratios:
- Estimated at 1:4 for nurses, with charge nurses free of patient duties


- Advanced Equipment & Technology:
- Vents, Feeding Pumps, IV Pumps, Wound Vacs, Specialty beds, Suction, Chest Tubes
- EMR: Meditech / CPN

Ideal Candidate Profile:


- Must Have:
- Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital PCU experience
- BLS & ACLS certification


- Preferred Skills:
- NIH experience
- Prior Meditech experience


- Core Competencies:
- Ability to manage chest tubes, trauma patients, trachs, and suction
- Strong team player mentality, adaptable to a highly acute patient population
