PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Five (5) years of teaching experience at appropriate level Prior school-based administrative experience Performance Responsibilities: Assists the principal in the overall administration of the school. Serves as interim principal in the absence of the principal. Assists in scheduling of classes and extra-curricular activities. Coordinate and/or assists in the preparation of student schedules. Works with department heads and/or staff in compiling the annual budget requests. Evaluates staff as requested. Collaborates with administration and staff in writing, implementing and monitoring the school-based Student Learning Plan. Assists the principal in implementing and monitoring the curriculum. Coordinates supplies, textbooks, and equipment, conducting inventories, maintaining records, and checking on receipts for such materials. Cooperates in the conducting of safety inspections and safety drill practice activities. Coordinates and/or assists with transportation, custodial, cafeteria, and other support services. Assists in maintaining discipline throughout the student body, and deals with special cases as necessary. Serves with parent, faculty, and student groups as requested in advancing educational and related activities and objectives. Performs such record-keeping and follow-up functions as the principal may direct. Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as the principal may from time to time assign.
