Associate Mechanical Assembler – Simple JD

Job Title: Associate Mechanical Assembler
Assignment: 6 months – possible extension/conversion to FTE
Pay Rate: $17.75/hour
Shift: Day Shift – 4 days/week, 10 hours/day

Overtime: Available/Expected

Job Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly of small parts, components, equipment housings, and larger mechanical equipment.
• Assemble components by fitting, mounting, aligning, and adjusting parts as required.
• Perform operational testing to make sure assembled equipment is working properly.
• Use tools and equipment such as air presses and drills .
• Inspect materials and assembled products for quality issues.
• Follow work instructions, manufacturing processes, and safety procedures.
• Learn and adapt to new assembly processes quickly.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of related assembly experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfortable working with hands.
• Manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse production, or mechanical experience is preferred.
• Good attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.
• Ability to quickly learn manufacturing processes.
• Reliable and willing to work overtime as needed.
• Comfortable working 100% onsite .
• No certifications required.
