Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting during night shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across all acuity levels
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient treatment
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility standards
• Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, competency assessments, and orientation protocols

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent experience in an Emergency Department setting
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA BLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA ACLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Active PALS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• All required certifications must be active with nothing pending

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
• 18 months of Emergency Department experience within a single location preferred
