Job Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of Iowa or eligibility to obtain prior to start
• Minimum of 1 year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience
• Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and time-management skills
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts consistently
• Current certifications and onboarding requirements completed as assigned
• Comfort working in an inpatient acute care and hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, patient-centered care to adult med/surg patients
• Complete assessments, monitor patient status, and report changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient recovery and discharge planning
• Document care accurately and maintain compliance with clinical protocols
• Respond effectively to changing patient needs in a busy inpatient environment
