Senior Accountant

$65k-$80k Dayton, OH | On-site We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support month-end close, general ledger accounting, and financial reconciliations. The ideal Senior Accountant is detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in a fast-paced accounting environment. Responsibilities of Senior Accountant Manage month-end close (MEC) activities and journal entries. Prepare balance sheet and inventory reconciliations. Handle intercompany accounting and account reconciliations. The Senior Accountant will maintain fixed asset schedules and record accruals. Support general ledger accuracy and financial reporting. Identify discrepancies and assist with process improvements. Requirements of Senior Accountant 5+ years of accounting experience. Strong GL and month-end close experience. Experience with balance sheet and inventory reconciliations. The Senior Accountant must have strong Excel skills. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Preferred Manufacturing or distribution accounting experience.
