This individual will contribute to develop next generation of hardware for our various product lines. The ideal candidate will have a high degree ownership of PCB lifecycles and will sustain the necessary changes to the layout designs. Extensive Altium experience will be a key, in additional to having excellent communication and documentation skills. They will work on multiple projects simultaneously and will need to ensure commitment dates at met without affecting quality and to meet commitment dates.WHAT YOU’LL DOWork directly with engineers to produce printed circuit board designs supporting all Anduril’s productsApply modern design standards and guidelines to create high-reliability, highly manufacturable assembliesImplement combinations of high-speed digital, precision analog, RF, and high-power designsWork with team to refine internal guidelines for design for manufacturing (DFM) and quality fabrication and assembly outputsContribute to team processes for PCB design, part creation, and library/database standardsAid with part library creation and managementReview and critique layouts before final delivery Work in a fast-paced environment, having to juggle multiple concurrent projects and customersREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of professional experience in PCB Layout or DesignFull understanding of PCB Layout techniques to meet mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing requirements.Ability to read and interpret schematics and apply best practices appropriate for each designAbility to determine work priorities based on broad direction from managementExpertise in applying relevant IPC standards, CID, CID+ certificationExperience using Altium Designer CAD toolsExperience with developing component libraries and library managementExcellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with othersAbility to work within our company and team cultureEligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearancePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similarExpert level with Alitum Designer CAD toolsUS Salary Range$132,000—$198,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
