Interventional Radiology Tech

Job Summary Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Provides technical support for interventional radiographic examinations. This includes assessing patient condition, operating imaging equipment, preparing examination rooms, and maintaining equipment, supplies, and medications. Performs radiographic exams on all patients, as necessary. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. Responsibilities Produces high‑quality diagnostic radiographs and rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology to include operating room (OR), urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements, and trauma; assists practitioner with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures and trauma. Qualifications Education: Required: Graduate of an accredited imaging program. Preferred: Associate degree. Experience: Required: 2‑5 years of X‑ray experience. Preferred: 1‑3 years interventional radiology experience. Certifications: Required: ARRT (R); VI or CI preferred, AHA BLS, state license if required. MI Only: Required: AHA BLS, state license if required. Preferred: VI or CI. Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
