Job Summary and Responsibilities Postdoctoral Fellow – Neuroimaging in Parkinson’s Disease As a Postdoctoral Fellow, you will engage in laboratory, translational, or clinical research under the direct guidance of a faculty member. A postdoctoral fellowship position is available in the Barrow Neuroimaging Innovation Center at the Barrow Neurological Institute (BNI) under the mentorship of Dr. Ashley Stokes. The fellow will contribute to a multidisciplinary research program focused on the development application and analysis of advanced MRI techniques to investigate neuropathological changes in Parkinson’s disease across both clinical and preclinical models. Daily, you will develop skills essential for your success as an independent investigator, including conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to scientific discourse and publications. Key methodologies include advanced diffusion and functional MRI for the assessment of brain connectivity and network integrity. Success in this role requires strong scientific curiosity, a rigorous research approach, a commitment to learning, and the ambition for leadership in your field.
