Job Description
Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule

Night shifts; 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30).

Assignment Details

May be required to float to other units as needed.

Requirements

• 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP.
• IV start skills required.
• Epic experience required.
• Previous travel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout the labor and delivery process.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions and respond to fluctuations.
• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Assist in the administration of medications and perform necessary procedures.
• Educate patients and families on care and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care.
