Locums Neonatology Opportunity - Michigan - Flexible Schedule

Exciting locums opportunity for a Board Certified Neonatologist in Michigan. Perfect for those near major transportation hubs.

• Level III NICU at a Level I Trauma Center
• Only 9 weeks of coverage needed - blocks of 7-14 days preferred

Practice Setting

• Work in a 47-bed unit, with both a NICU and Special Care Nursery
• Engage with a neonatal population, averaging 31 patients per day
• Open Bay setting to facilitate comprehensive care
• Involvement in high-risk deliveries and neonatal procedures

Schedule

• Mixed schedule of daytime shifts and nighttime home call
• Call ratio of 1:4 with variable scheduling
• Flexible blocks of 7-14 days permitting time off between shifts

Travel Accommodations

• Hotel and flights reimbursed by the facility
• Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate

Requirements

• Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Neonatology
• Fellowship in Neonatology
• Active Michigan medical license
• Current NRP advanced provider or instructor status
• NALS certification preferred
