OVERVIEW:
Shift: 2B: Tuesday - Friday 5:30p - 3:30a
Rate: $29.55/hr. + $1/hr. shift dif
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Adhere to all safety requirements including OSHA standards with regards to LOTO and safe work practices.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all equipment related to the facility and conveyance systems within the facility. Follow PM standards and document work performed for accurate record keeping in our asset management system. Areas of expertise must include PLCs, conveyors, 3 phase electric, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and any other related equipment.
Accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily parts usage to Maintenance leadership to help ensure spare parts inventory is maintained.
Assist in teammate development by training junior technicians in order to elevate their performance level while troubleshooting and repairing any related assets.
Work closely with outside vendors in order to complete projects within the DCs in a safe and timely manor.
Take on other duties as needed to support the DC and its operational needs
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
3-5 years of experience
Welding, burning, cutting
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
Good safety awareness
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
Experience with LOTO

Targeted Pay Range: $29.55 - $42.90. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience and position offered. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.DICKS Sporting Goods complies with all state paid leave requirements.
