Lead React Front-End Developer

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Lead React Front-End Developer to drive the architecture, design, and implementation of modern, responsive web and mobile front-end applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading React/Next.js development teams, defining scalable front-end architecture, and delivering enterprise‑grade digital platforms in a retail/eCommerce environment. Required Experience 10+ years of overall IT experience. 8+ years of hands‑on experience with React.js and Next.js development. Proven experience leading front‑end development teams and delivering enterprise‑scale applications. Experience in Retail/eCommerce domain is required. Required Technical Skills React.js Next.js Micro Front‑End (Micro FE) architecture JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, SCSS Node.js Redux, Context API, React Hooks GraphQL, Apollo Client DOM manipulation, JavaScript Object Model, Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) Responsive Web Design Azure Cloud CI/CD, DevOps pipelines and deployments Roles and Responsibilities Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable React.js and Next.js applications. Develop reusable front‑end components, frameworks, and UI abstractions. Collaborate with UX/UI designers, architects, and development teams to deliver high‑quality user experiences. Drive adoption of AI‑assisted development practices using tools such as GitHub Copilot and similar AI accelerators. Define and enforce front‑end development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards and non‑functional requirements. Optimize application performance and resolve complex UI issues. Coordinate with distributed development teams to ensure successful project delivery. Contribute to technical roadmaps and architectural decisions. Preferred Skills Experience with React Native for cross‑platform mobile application development. Knowledge of Java Spring Boot microservices and API integrations. Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture and modern front‑end design patterns. Soft Skills Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to mentor developers and provide technical leadership.
