As a developer and EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contractor, they design and build solar farms as turn-key delivery. With over 200 completed installations, this firm has established itself as the top contractor in the Southeast, with their customers including some of the largest renewable energy owners in the US. This firm is looking to grow their team of highly skilled engineers and project managers to meet the increasing demand for solar power.Description:Our client is seeking a motivated engineer with 10+ years of experience for a full-time position as Senior Project Manager. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Senior Project Manager will supervise the construction of small-scale utility solar farms leading a team of site superintendents and sub-contractors. Working as an integral part of a knowledgeable and experienced team, the candidate will be involved in all aspects of solar project management and engineering.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or educational background in engineeringInterested in sustainability and solar energyExperience in construction and project management, preferably in solar or energy sectorHigh level of attention to detail, time management, and organizational skillsAbility to read construction drawings and technical specificationsUnderstanding of Main Project Agreements such as lease, EPC agreement, interconnection and power purchase agreement and translating those into the project planResponsibilities:Overall responsibility for project successManage the internal project team, vendors and consultants.Supervise procurement of equipment, materials and sub-contracts.Coordinate design with engineering and procurement specialists.Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships; supervise and prepare sub-contracts and purchase agreementsCommunicate effectively with both internal team members and external customers.
