Job Overview

The Telemetry Monitor Technician is responsible for continuous monitoring of adult and pediatric cardiac rhythms of patients with telemetry orders. Notifying nursing staff of changes in rhythms, rhythms creating crisis alarms, 'leads fail' alarms, etc. Documentation in EPIC charting communication with nursing staff.

Qualifications:

Required:

• American Heart Association CPR required
• Certification following satisfactory passing grade in the RWJUH Monitor Technician and EKG course

Preferred:

• Previous telemetry experience preferred

Scheduling Requirements

• Full Time
• Night Shift
• 40 hours per week
