Mixer Operator/Shop Laborer

Job Opportunity At Lake Shore Burial Vault Co., Inc.

Lake Shore Burial Vault Co., Inc. is a precast concrete manufacturer in Lannon, WI that specializes in production of septic tanks, burial vaults, catch basins, and more. We are looking for a full-time, year-round employee to operate the batch plant, perform basic quality control, and to assist in production.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring materials are available for daily batching.
• Keeping a log of which products are poured with each batch.
• Performing quality control tasks such as compressive testing, air testing, and aggregate moisture testing.
• Performing pre and post pour inspection to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Maintaining the batch plant, including washing the mixer, greasing mixer and accessories, and basic housekeeping.
• Production tasks: cleaning and setting up molds, tying rebar cages, etc.

Qualifications:

• Concrete experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Basic math comprehension.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks like climbing and crouching.
• Ability to multitask.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Training on quality control processes is not a requirement, but applicants must be willing and able to learn.
