This community medical center provides comprehensive surgical services with established anesthesia protocols designed to support quality patient care delivery. The facility maintains modern anesthesia capabilities across multiple specialties while operating under a medical direction supervision model.

Northeastern Pennsylvania offers a mix of scenic outdoor adventure and historic charm, featuring the mountainous Pocono region, numerous state parks with waterfalls (like Ricketts Glen), and Lake Wallenpaupack for water recreation. Visitors can explore industrial history, enjoy year-round skiing or water parks, and visit museums.

The anesthesiologist will provide comprehensive anesthesia services during Monday through Friday shifts with 8 or 10 hour scheduling options and no call requirements. The clinician will manage a mixed caseload of 60% pediatric and 40% adult cases, requiring comfort with sick pediatric patients. Adult cases include general surgery, trauma, and all specialties except cardiac/lung transplants and burn treatment, while pediatric cases encompass general surgery, trauma, urology, ENT, dental, plastics, orthopedic, neurology, MRI, and cardiac procedures. The position operates primarily through medical direction of CRNAs with opportunities to work with residents if desired.
