Business IT Project Analyst (contract)

Hybrid role at our McLean, VA corporate office onsite 1-2 days/week*** Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized professional to support project managers and workstream leads across a portfolio of identity, access, domain, and collaboration initiatives. This role plays a critical part in keeping projects on track by maintaining accurate documentation, coordinating stakeholder communications, and ensuring timely follow-up on deliverables and dependencies. In addition to project support, this individual will contribute to recurring operational activities including demand intake screening, access coordination, reporting, and information governance support. Work will be performed under the direction of TD&CS leadership and designated project or technical owners, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and takes pride in enabling teams to operate efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities Support and maintain project plans, schedules, action items, milestones, risks, issues, decisions, and dependency trackers Gather updates from project team members and prepare status reports, meeting materials, summaries, and follow-up notes Coordinate project meetings, track decisions and action owners, and follow up on outstanding items Support Domain Consolidation activities, including property pipeline tracking, migration scheduling, readiness follow-up, communications, and knowledge base documentation Coordinate project and operational activities across identity and access workstreams, including Owner Approver requests, Owner access processes, authentication initiatives, and role development Support demand intake and screening by tracking requests, gathering required information, and coordinating follow-up with stakeholders Coordinate LDAP-related work and status with the appropriate technical owners Maintain and refresh recurring Power BI reports and project tracking data; perform basic data validation and flag discrepancies Monitor and support the Information Governance mailbox by logging, routing, and tracking requests through resolution Draft and maintain process documentation, knowledge articles, communications, and reusable project management templates Identify overdue actions, schedule conflicts, and emerging dependencies, escalating them to the appropriate project lead Skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and maintain accuracy across schedules, trackers, and documentation Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to draft clear status updates, meeting summaries, process documentation, and stakeholder communications Effective meeting coordination and facilitation skills, including agenda preparation, note-taking, and action item follow-up Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and business stakeholders across varying levels of the organization Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies, overdue actions, and emerging risks or dependencies Ability to adapt to shifting priorities while consistently meeting deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams Familiarity with ServiceNow, SharePoint, Power BI, or other project and reporting tools preferred Experience preparing project communications, knowledge articles, or change management materials preferred Familiarity with project management practices, including action tracking, risk and issue management, and status reporting preferred Qualifications 2+ years experience supporting IT projects, programs, or operational work in a project coordinator, project analyst, or similar role Experience supporting identity and access management, infrastructure, or enterprise technology initiatives preferred Familiarity with project management methodologies or frameworks is preferred Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus but not required This is a compelling opportunity to contribute to high-visibility technology initiatives within a globally recognized hospitality organization.
