CT Technologist - Weekend Option

Role Overview: The CT Technologist applies technical expertise to deliver safe, high-quality imaging at a healthcare facility, ensuring a supportive patient experience. They collaborate with a care team, operate imaging equipment independently, and maintain safety and infection control protocols. Responsibilities Perform CT procedures accurately, capturing diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure. Obtain patient history, verify orders, and explain procedures using AIDET to reduce anxiety. Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout exams. Administer contrast agents, position patients correctly, and utilize sterile techniques when necessary. Review images for quality, repeat or adjust as needed, and finalize studies in RIS/PACS systems. Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and maintain equipment and workspaces. Support workflow, transport patients safely, and complete documentation and clerical tasks. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. At least 1 year of radiology experience. Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, patient communication, and adherence to safety protocols.
