The firm’s 50+ professionals work from offices in New York, London and Hong Kong.Get to Know the Opportunity: Candidate will have the opportunity to assume a financial position in a growing, global investment firm. The candidate will work with a group of several finance staff members and will have regular interaction with the CFO, the Director and the SVP of Accounting.We are looking for a candidate with a desire to learn more about the private equity business who has experienced academic success, has a working knowledge of accounting and possess good written and oral communication skills. Ideal candidate will have 4-5 years accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or fund administration.The Contributions You'll Make:Support the VP’s of Accounting with day-to-day fund operations, including cash reconciliations and review of investment activities.Support the management of day-to-day financial accounting and administration for private equity secondary fund-of-funds.Work directly with third party administrator on day-to-day operationsInitial review quarterly financial statementsInitial review journal entries and cash reconciliationsMaintain the books and record for the general partner entitiesAssist with preliminary audit preparation activitiesAssist with tax estimates and returns filingsProvide reports and support to controller and general partnersConduct data reconciliations among accounting systemsAssess, organize and maintain accounting recordsProvide general support to the accounting team as requestedMinimum Knowledge & Experience:We are looking for a candidate with a desire to learn more about the private equity business who has experienced academic success, has a working knowledge of accounting and possess good written and oral communication skills. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives.
