Medical Technologist

Position Summary The Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist oversees patient specimen collection, processing, testing, and reporting. The role ensures quality control, quality assurance, maintenance of analyzers, and monitoring of accuracy and precision. Successful candidates must be proficient in analyzer and instrument operation, quality control, calibration and maintenance, and have a passion for customer service excellence, teamwork, and enjoy working with the public. Key Responsibilities Oversee patient specimen collection, processing, testing, and reporting. Ensure quality control, quality assurance, and maintenance of analyzers. Monitor accuracy and precision of testing. Operate and calibrate instruments and maintain equipment. Provide excellent customer service and teamwork within the laboratory. Minimum Qualifications Active Montana Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Clinical Lab Technician certification, or ability to obtain licensure within 45 days of hire. One to two years of clinical post‑degree training preferred. Schedule Full‑time – 36 hours (0.9 FTE), 6:00 pm–18:30 pm, Tuesdays, Thursdays‑Fridays. Shift options: 3x12, negotiable to 4x10 or 5x8.
