Building Location:Essentia Health Surgery Center - Grand RapidsDepartment:2123400 SURGERY - LW ASCJob Description:Provides care within nursing standards of practice and the policies of the Ambulatory Surgery Center. Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to physicians, patients, family members, and personnel in other departments as well as team members. In conjunction with team members directs the patient flow of the day. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.Education Qualifications:Educational Requirements:BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursingRequired Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of experience within a hospital or Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Operating RoomMust have experience with electronic medical recordsLicensure/Certification Qualifications:Certification/Licensure Requirements:Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employmentBasic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one monthFTE:0Possible Remote/Hybrid Option:Shift Rotation:Day Rotation (United States of America)Shift Start Time:0700Shift End Time:1600Weekends:Holidays:NoCall Obligation:NoUnion:Union Posting Deadline:Compensation Range:$37.10 - $55.65Employee Benefits at Essentia Health: At Essentia Health, we’re committed to supporting your well-being, growth, and work-life balance.
