Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary As a Maintenance Mechanic you will assist in the installation, maintenance, repair, and fabrication of DC equipment and facilities under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor. You will recommend solutions for problems and have the ability to work independently on routine problems and minor repairs. You will be on call for emergencies while working, handle multiple projects and daily activities, and meet timelines. Major Areas of Responsibility Must be able to use hand and power tools and other equipment as necessary to complete assignments including building maintenance, electrical wiring, conveyor repairs, packaging equipment, and hydraulics. Proficiently operate various power industrial trucks safely and efficiently. Possess and demonstrate carpentry skills to include fabrication projects of various materials. Recommend and implement improvements to equipment, operations, procedures, and safety as appropriate. Support maintenance manager, supervisor, and clerk to spec out orders, parts, and help maintain inventory of spares. Facilitate facilities testing according to predictive maintenance schedule, report findings, and make repairs to keep all building and material handling systems operational. #J-18808-Ljbffr AI
