Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate patient care, including assessment, education, triage, and various nursing interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Provide empathetic care to patients throughout all stages of preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
  • Exhibit competency and apply comprehensive nursing expertise in practice.
Qualifications
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, such as those recognized by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). A Bachelor's Degree in nursing is preferred.
  • Must hold an unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing in the state where you will practice, or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Required department-specific competencies and certifications must be obtained and maintained.
