Job Summary
Homeside Rehab is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to provide therapy services to patients within an in Oneonta, NY .
This is a great opportunity for an OTA looking for a consistent caseload in one convenient location , without traveling between multiple patient homes. We offer competitive compensation, flexible scheduling, and a sign-on bonus .
Job ResponsibilitiesProvide occupational therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Carry out individualized treatment plans established by the supervising OT
Assist patients with improving strength, coordination, functional mobility, and independence
Provide therapeutic interventions focused on activities of daily living and functional skills
Monitor and document patient progress
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
Communicate changes in patient status to the supervising Occupational Therapist
Collaborate with facility staff, caregivers, and the clinical team to support continuity of care
Follow all applicable clinical, documentation, and compliance requirements
Active New York State Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with the supervising Occupational Therapist
Basic computer skills for electronic documentation
Previous experience in an assisted living facility, skilled nursing facility, home health, or outpatient setting is preferred but not required
Location: Oneonta, NY
