CDL-A Driver – This Is NOT Your Typical Trucking Job Looking for a CDL driving job that lets you get on the road without living on the road? Come drive for Sportsman Boats ! Our CDL Drivers transport our boats and equipment throughout the East Coast and across the U.S.—but unlike traditional over-the-road trucking, our overnight trips are typically only 1–2 nights per week. You’ll spend your time hauling some pretty impressive cargo, representing a growing boat manufacturer, and still have plenty of time at home. Why Drive for Sportsman? Overnight travel typically only 1–2 nights per week Paid hourly AND by mileage Great benefits package Consistent opportunity with an established boat manufacturer Transport boats and equipment—not the same old freight Work with a team that values Safety, Quality, Teamwork, Accountability & Innovation What You'll Do Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport Sportsman boats and equipment Load, secure, transport, and unload boats and equipment Complete required driver logs and DOT documentation Inspect and maintain the truck and equipment to ensure safety and cleanliness Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and delivery sites Represent Sportsman Boats with a professional, customer-focused attitude What We're Looking For Valid CDL-A AND at least 1 year of driving experience Clean driving record Active DOT physical card Strong commitment to safety Dependable and reliable Ability to work occasional overnight trips and an irregular schedule High school diploma or GED Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and perform the physical requirements of the position A Different Kind of Driving Job If you enjoy being behind the wheel but don't want to spend your life on the road , this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.
