Entry-Level Facilities & General Laborer

As an Entry-Level Facilities & General Laborer team member, you'll assist with the general upkeep of the facility, including light repairs, painting and patching, basic maintenance tasks, and keeping work areas clean, safe, and organized. You'll work alongside an experienced team and receive hands-on training as you learn the role.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential for a long-term position for the right person. If you're dependable, mechanically inclined, willing to learn, and enjoy hands-on work, we'd love to hear from you!

Job Duties:

• Perform general facility maintenance, light repairs, painting, patching, and upkeep using hand and power tools.
• Operate a forklift and assist with material handling, including dumping chip bins and moving materials throughout the facility.
• Assist with basic machine maintenance, including oil changes; training will be provided.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while supporting the Operations team with daily tasks.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. and work an 8-hour schedule; training begins at 8:00 AM, with the regular schedule transitioning to a 5:20 AM start once training is completed.

Schedule:

Training Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm

Schedule After Trained: Monday-Friday, 5:20am-1:50am

Pay: $22 - $25 per hour

Job Requirements:

• No previous maintenance experience required experience in general labor, construction, manufacturing, or similar hands-on work is a plus.
• Comfortable learning to use hand and power tools and assisting with basic repairs, painting, patching, and maintenance tasks.
• Mechanically inclined and willing to learn basic machine maintenance, including oil changes and other routine tasks; training will be provided.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work safely in an industrial environment while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn, with the ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
