Department Manager

This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is a separate employer responsible for all employment matters. Responsibilities Manage assigned systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, including goal setting, delegation, follow‑up, and reporting. Oversee Guest Service Department functions: training staff, managing sales promotions, and maintaining organization of Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas. Ensure Kitchen Department delivers quality food quickly, controls food cost, and trains staff on production procedures. Handle People Department duties: hire qualified crew, train and schedule staff to meet sales and profit goals, and recognize and motivate crew. Maintain a positive team environment, flexible schedule, and passion for fast‑paced operations. Requirements Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Must be 18 years or older. Positive team player with flexible schedule and enthusiasm for a fast‑paced environment. Benefits 5‑15 days paid vacation.
