LPN Lead: Resident Care & Med Admin

Oakland Park Community is hiring for the following positions. Each role has its own responsibilities, qualifications, and benefits. Director of Nursing (Salaried) Responsibilities: The Director of Nursing will lead, plan, organize, staff, direct, analyze, and evaluate nursing services in the department. They will supervise nursing team members and others as assigned to provide effective nursing services that meet practice and quality standards. The Director will maintain quality care ensuring facility policies and procedures are current, followed, and compliant with state and federal regulations. The Director will communicate professionally with residents, families, and co-workers. Qualifications: Current RN licensure in the state of Minnesota. Licensed Practical Nurse (Union Position) Responsibilities: Under the direction of an RN, the LPN will supervise all NA staff and provide appropriate care to residents. Medications Injections Dressing changes Contacting families and physicians Staffing Any delegated duties within the scope of practice Work schedule: every other weekend and holiday rotation. Certified Nursing Assistant (Union Position) Responsibilities: Assist licensed nurses in delivering resident care. Provide all personal care, focusing on activities of daily living for assigned residents, record keeping, and reporting unusual findings to the nurse. Plan to obtain nursing assistant certification within four months of hire; training or payment for training will be provided. Work schedule: every other weekend and holiday rotation. Qualifications: Nursing assistant certification or ability to become certified within four months of hire. Under the cook and Dietary Manager, aide will coordinate and complete preparation and serving of snacks and meals to ensure nutritional needs of residents are met. The aide will also maintain kitchen work areas and keep equipment, utensils, and plates clean and orderly. Work schedule: every other weekend and holiday rotation. Home Health Aide - Assisted Living (Union Position) Duties include medication administration under RN supervision, assistance with activities of daily living, laundry & housekeeping, activities, and more. Full-time and part-time positions are available. Motivated caregivers are sought to provide excellent customer service to Assisted Living residents. Activity Aide (Union Position) Assists in running daily activities, including social, spiritual, recreational, and group activities. Must enjoy working with seniors to enrich their lives.
