This person will have heavy and extensive experience in Litigation, and be able to handle a case load of 20-30 cases that are in progress. Requirements Minimum of 5 years plus of Litigation experience as a Paralegal Able to draft Pleadings for review by Attorney(s) Excellent Research and Writing skills Knowledge of the Local Rules and Civil Procedures In depth experience with the Discovery process Great communication skills and able to communicate with clients, opposing counsel and court personnel. Have a friendly and compassionate demeanor Job Description Drafting and editing correspondence and pleadings Monitoring Calendar deadlines and SOL’s Working closely with the Attorneys Able to work independently and as a team Case Management Preparing for Depositions, Mediations, Arbitrations and Trials Preparing Exhibit Binders E-filing We work M-F “in office”, provide a competitive salary with discretionary bonuses and provide health, dental, eye, PTO, and vacation time off.
