The Hospital
This established mixed-animal practice serves both small and large animals and is known locally for dependable, compassionate care. The facility offers approximately 3,700 sq. ft. of organized clinical space with three exam rooms and weekday appointment hours, plus on-call and mobile services for large animals and emergencies. The team works within a collaborative, technician-supported model that enables veterinarians to focus on medicine and surgery. In-house capabilities include:
- On-site diagnostics and lab services
- Digital radiology
- A well-equipped surgical suite, including options for orthopedic procedures
- Dentistry
- Therapeutic modalities such as laser therapy and physical rehabilitation
- Complementary options including acupuncture and herbal approaches
- An on-site pharmacy

The Role
- Provide high-quality medical and surgical care for small and large animals, including wellness, dentistry, soft-tissue procedures, and select orthopedic cases
- Lead medical standards, protocol development, and quality initiatives as Medical Director
- Mentor veterinarians and support staff; foster a positive, team-centered culture
- Utilize in-house diagnostics and imaging to guide patient care and case management
- Participate in on-call and mobile large-animal services as part of a shared rotation
- Partner with the client service and technical teams to ensure excellent client communication and continuity of care

Requirements
- DVM/VMD (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- License to practice (or eligibility for licensure) in Colorado
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license for mobile/field work
- Experience or strong interest in mixed-animal practice; comfort with on-call large-animal coverage
- Prior leadership experience or clear aptitude for mentorship and medical oversight
- Excellent communication and a client-centered approach
