Develop partnerships to maintain current information on resources for renters’ rental assistance, legal aid, and mediation strategies. Educate and refer tenants and landlords to these resources as appropriate. Develop partnerships to maintain current information on housing resources. Maintain current knowledge of landlord and tenant rights and responsibilities, including eviction law Coordinate and market housing and mediation services within the local community. Assist clients in the development of mediation agreement/repayment plans as needed. Provide workshops to educate clients to become aware of the cause-and-effect relationship between their circumstances (social and financial) and their choices (behavior). Provide case management and goal-setting opportunities to participants. Assess social and financial barriers to determine appropriate interventions and ensure clients have access to all available direct-client services. Ensure housing grant timelines are met and provide department reports. Monitor grant budgets in collaboration with Community Support Manager.
