Key Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute carpentry work. 
• Perform commercial framing using wood or metal studs for walls, ceilings, and partitions. 
• Install doors, hardware, windows, casework, millwork, and interior finish components.
• Lay out and install drop ceilings, drywall framing, and acoustical ceiling systems. 
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials using both hand and power tools.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe job sites; follow OSHA and company safety policies at all times. 
• Collaborate with project leads, subcontractors, and other trades to meet deadlines and quality standards. 
• Report issues or delays promptly and recommend corrective actions. 
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors. 

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience in commercial carpentry (typically 3+ years preferred). 
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. 
• Tools: Skilled use of hand tools and power tools common to carpentry. 
• Safety Mindset: Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe work practices.
• Teamwork: Works well independently and as part of a construction team. 
• Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting, standing, bending, climbing ladders, and performing physically demanding tasks. 
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
