Psychiatrist Position at Family Care CenterFamily Care Center (FCC) was founded in 2016 with the mission to improve access to mental health care in the local community. FCC brings together the highest quality providers with a wide range of skills including psychiatrists, psychologists, marital therapists, family therapists, licensed professional counselors, and child therapists to work as a team to help individuals and families on their journey to grow and thrive.Position SummaryThe Psychiatrist provides therapy and/or medication management as needed to identify, diagnose, and treat patients under their care. Essential Responsibilities:Provide clinical services at or above the customary practice standards in the Community, and within the qualifications and experience of Physician and adhere to the standards and principles of medical ethics of the American Medical Association, and all recognized associations or accrediting boards concerned with Physician's area of medical specialty.Conduct diagnostic assessments using the bio-psycho-social model through discussion, observation, and analysis.Identify psychiatric conditions according to the DSM-5Develop comprehensive treatment plans through multi-disciplinary collaboration with therapists and other professionals.Initiate and manage psychopharmacologic treatments.Order and evaluate laboratory and other diagnostic test results.Coordinate with healthcare professionals when hospitalization is required.Provide psychoeducation to patients and families when clinically appropriate.Work collaboratively with medical assistants to streamline clinical workflow and optimize the patient's experience of care.Minimum QualificationsMD or DO requiredACGME-accredited residency training program in psychiatry preferredCurrent medical license in state of practiceCurrent and unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration in the state of practiceCertification from the American Board of Medical Specialists (ABMS)Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive Earnings Annual compensation will be up to $400,000 inclusive of bonus opportunity.Generous Sign-On BonusUnlimited Paid Time Off (PTO)401(k) and Profit SharingComprehensive Benefits PackageRelocation SupportDistinctive FeaturesWork-Life Balance: Enjoy a 100% outpatient role, free from call duties, evenings, or weekend work.Flexible Scheduling: Tailor your work schedule to your needs with full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities available.Collaborative Team Environment: Thrive in a supportive multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with therapists, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.Support staff: We provide ample support staff to alleviate administrative burden.
