Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN

Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) located in Erlanger, KY
Pay: $25-$29/hour
Business Hours:

• Monday-Friday: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Schedule Requirement:

• Must be flexible to work 12-hour shifts if needed and must be available to work Saturdays

Job Summary:
The LPN provides direct pediatric patient care under the supervision of the RN Case Manager using a multidisciplinary and holistic care approach. Responsibilities include patient care, documentation, medication administration within scope, communication with families, and maintaining compliance with HIPAA and facility policies.
Primary Duties:

• Provide individualized patient care per treatment plans
• Communicate changes in patient condition to RN Case Manager
• Maintain accurate charting/documentation
• Support children's physical, emotional, behavioral, and educational needs
• Assist with facility cleanliness and safety
• Supervise caregivers and nursing assistants as assigned
• Attend required trainings and in-services

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent bending, lifting, kneeling, crawling, and transfers
• Ability to lift/move up to 50-100 lbs with assistance
• Moderate physical activity in a pediatric care environment

Restrictions:
LPNs may not perform certain RN-level procedures including admissions/discharges, IV pump programming, medication titration, arterial line procedures, or IV push/bolus medication administration.
