Travel CT Technologist - $3,226 per week

LanceSoft is seeking a travel CT Technologist in Watsonville, California We are looking for a skilled CT Technologist to join our team for a 13‑week travel assignment. The position is based in Watsonville and requires a 40‑hour work week with rotating shifts (10 hours per shift, day, evening, night). The start date is ASAP. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days, evenings, nights, rotating Employment Type: Travel Key Responsibilities Perform CT scans according to physician orders and departmental protocols. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns. Position patients correctly to obtain high‑quality diagnostic images. Administer contrast media as required while monitoring patients for adverse reactions. Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently. Evaluate image quality and repeat scans when necessary to ensure diagnostic accuracy. Follow radiation safety practices to minimize patient and staff exposure. Monitor patient condition before, during, and after imaging procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic services. Perform routine quality assurance and equipment checks. Adhere to hospital policies, HIPAA regulations, and infection prevention standards. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience in a hospital or acute care setting. Experience with trauma, emergency, inpatient, and outpatient imaging preferred. Strong knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy and CT imaging protocols. Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
