About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Interventional Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years RN Cardiac/Surgical ICU experience. License: RN License Certifications: BLS and ACLS Must-Have: ICU experience Cardiac Cath and/or EP lab experience Moderate sedation experience Description: The position is for the Cardiovascular Interventional Lab. This lab consists of Cath and EP labs. Candidates must have ICU experience and experience in cardiac Cath and/or EP labs. Required certifications include RN License, BLS, and ACLS. The role mandates a minimum of 2 years of RN Cardiac/Surgical ICU experience. Candidates with EPIC CUPID experience, Critical Care Certification, and trauma course completion are preferred. The lab operates eleven procedure rooms for diagnostic and interventional procedures. Services provided include treatment for coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathy, pericardial disease, peripheral artery disease, adult congenital heart disease, and aortic disease. Schedule includes Monday to Friday with four 10-hour shifts, utilizing alternating or staggered shifts. This position requires on-call responsibilities on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, with a minimum of 7 to 10 days every 6 weeks. A 30-minute response time is required for call duties.
