: This position performs a variety of office administrative support functions requiring independent judgment, research, collection of information/data, preparation and maintenance of reports, and maintains the confidentiality of sensitive information. Assists with special projects and provides guidance to the administration to ensure deadlines are met and/or targets are achieved. . This employee independently researches, and gathers data and prepares reports. Initiates special projects and provides guidance to assist in achieving the goals of the service center. Performs a variety of complex secretarial and administrative support functions requiring independent judgement. Support office by organizing, moving, and stocking supplies or other materials as assigned. Minimum qualifications: Three (3) years of secretarial or clerical work experience required.

College education from an accredtited institution can substitute at the rate of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours for each year of the required work experience. Vocational/technical training in the area of secretarial science or office/business studies can substitute at the rate of 720 classroom hours for each year of the required work experience. A high school diploma or its equivalent can substitute for one year of the required work experience.

Preferences: Experience, education or training in recruitment and selection activities. Experience preparing meeting notes and agendas, making travel arrangements, purchasing supplies, tracking information, creating and maintaining calendar events, and supporting leadership positions. Knowledge of Department of Children & Families’ services related to child welfare, adult protection, economic self-sufficiency programs, or mental health treatment facilities direct care.
