Director, Strategy & Analytics

Influential is an AI social data and conversion technology, as well as a Developer Partner of IBM Watson and a Facebook Marketing Partner. Utilizing a network of over 1,000,000 social media influencers as a tactic for distribution, Influential runs both native and paid campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, and YouTube for Fortune 500 brands including Walmart, McDonald's, Pepsi, Nestlé, General Mills, Toyota, Samsung, Sony Pictures and many more. Influential is the only company that can track deterministic one-to-one in-store foot traffic and sales attribution from paid influencer posts, as well as TV tune-in lift and attribution. Influential is a strategic partner of WME and Oracle's Moat and has offices in Beverly Hills, New York City, and Las Vegas.

We are seeking an exceptional Director, Strategy & Analytics who serves as the architect in leading insight-led thinking, creator intelligence, and strategic rigor across select agency accounts. Internally, the Director will collaborate with teams to build out brand-level integrated influencer strategies, and successfully manage day-to-day relationships. Externally, the Director will be a trusted strategic partner to our clients and agencies in driving efficiencies and maximizing value from the influencer ecosystem.

You'll partner closely with teams to connect cultural insights with business objectives, crafting strategies that are rooted in data and built for impact.

  • Serve as a senior point of contact for our Agency clients across creator marketing programs, ensuring clarity, alignment, and excellence in execution.
  • Ensure creator strategies ladder to audience insights, content trends, and performance metrics driving brand goals.
  • Translate reporting outputs into actionable insights and strategic recommendations, connecting creator performance to business KPIs.
  • Maintain an understanding of the creator and cultural landscapes, with the ability to bring a proactive POV to the client and internal teams on where the creator economy is heading.
  • Bridge the gap between strategy, creative, and creator, ensuring insights fuel every state of a campaign and are driving everything we do for our brands.
  • Support key initiatives, pitches, and innovation planning that showcase the power of data-driven influence.
  • Guide a team in turning data into clear narratives that move clients from insight to action.

Responsibilities

  • 8+ years of experience across influencer, media, digital, or brand strategy - ideally within agency or consultancy environments.
  • An understanding of creator/influencer and an understanding of the category's pace, nuance, and consumer mindset is key to success.
  • Strong ability to translate data into compelling business stories and visual outputs
  • Proven success translating marketing objectives into influencer/creator programs that deliver measurable business results.
  • Hands-on experience with platforms as it relates to:
    • Influencer/Creator Marketing (Captiv8, Traackr, CreatorIQ, Tagger, etc.)
    • Social Media Management/Listening (Pulsar, Quid, Infegy, Brandwatch, etc.)
    • Insights Tools and Resources (GWI, Demographics Pro, Mintel, eMarketer, etc.)
  • A confident communicator who can distill complex insights and build trust.
  • Highly proactive and solutions-oriented, with a bias toward action and the ability to bring clarity in moments of ambiguity.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple fast-moving workstreams.

Qualifications

  • You have Influencer/Creator Marketing, Strategy or Integrated Marketing experience, and are adept at bringing Insights and Data together in innovative ways.
  • You want to shape how the world's most iconic and leading brands connect with culture and consumers through creator marketing. You want to play a key role in defining what influence looks like today, building programs that drive not just awareness, but authentic connection and brand advocacy.
  • You're energized by fast-moving brands and thrive in the space where no two days are the same. You want to lead conversations with brands, work directly with creatives in shaping culture, and partner with teams to transform numbers into narratives.

Compensation Range: $120,000 - $160,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
