Accounts Payable Analyst

Akkodis is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst for a W2 contract position with a client in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will focus on invoice processing and other typical Accounts Payable tasks that support the day-to-day function of the department. The position requires strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and vlookups, and involves working with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains. The team is looking for someone based in the Houston area who can work onsite 4 times per month, while handling core Accounts Payable responsibilities that require accuracy and adherence to established accounting procedures. This is a hybrid role, primarily remote, with an expectation to work onsite in Houston, Texas about 4 days per month. The contract is estimated to run through the end of November 2026, with no defined end date at this time. Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour on W2; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Accounts Payable Analyst job responsibilities include: Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring correct data entry and coding in accordance with Accounts Payable procedures. Perform invoice processing and other typical Accounts Payable tasks. Use Excel with strong proficiency, including pivot tables and vlookups, to organize, analyze, and reconcile Accounts Payable data as needed. Enter, review, and update Accounts Payable transactions in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, following established accounting and system guidelines. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve invoice discrepancies and support timely payment of vendor obligations within Accounts Payable. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors in Accounting Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and vlookups. Accounts Payable experience that demonstrates familiarity with invoice processing and other typical AP tasks. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is desired.
