Excellence is in the details!/ppAnchor Glass in an Equal Opportunity Employer/ph3Job Summary/h3pThe primary duties of a Mould Maker is to repair mold equipment by utilizing various tools and equipment to weld, file, grind, vent, polish, letter cut, lathe work, millwork etc./ph3Main Position Responsibilities/h3ulliWeld, grind, file, machine, and polish mold equipment and return equipment to specifications./liliGrind lathe tools and do lathe work as required./liliRun surface grinder when reducing mold equipment./liliUse manual lathe and milling machines when required for repairing mold equipment./liliKeep welding torches and gauges in safe and proper working condition./liliUse gauges to verify equipment is to correct dimensions./liliKeep work area clean and follow safe working practices./liliInspect mold equipment when needed./liliInform supervisor of irregularities of materials and mold equipment./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliMinimum 5 years of experience in a production manufacturing environment./liliTechnical school degree is desired (will consider years of experience and/or equivalent educational experience)/liliCNC programming and operations preferred./liliWelding and blueprint reading experience preferred./liliKnowledge of basic safety procedures./liliAbility to follow and retain directions as well as manage multiple tasks./liliAbility to work independently as well as part of a team to reach a common goal./liliWork well under pressure in a fast-paced environment./liliAble to handle multiple tasks with capability of prioritizing and planning work activities./liliDemonstrate accuracy and thoroughness with ability to improve and promote quality and safety./liliAbility to independently maintain a clean and organized work area./liliExcellent verbal and written communication./liliBasic computer knowledge./li/ulh3Environment and Physical Requirements/h3ulliThis is an hourly position in a union environment./liliCandidates must be able to swing shifts alternating between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd./liliMust be able to work in extreme hot temperatures./lili100% inside work./liliNoise level 70 dbs./liliExposures to dusts of lead, nickel, chromium, graphite./liliComply with Environmental and Food Safety standards as set forth in plant policies/programs within department responsibilities./li/ul/div
