As a Security Officer Reception Clearance Required in Charlottesville, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location as a Front Desk Security Officer, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a front desk location within a technology-focused environment.
• Monitor visitor access, verify identification and credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry while maintaining a professional and welcoming presence.
• Answer phones, assist employees, guests, and/or vendors with directions and check-in processes, and document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders when appropriate.
• Complete reports, maintain front desk logs, and support access control and other security-related operations in accordance with site expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
