Sample Management Coordinator
$18.35 - $24 per hourAltasciences
Altasciences seeks a Sample Management Coordinator to oversee biological samples in clinical trials at their Cypress, California location. The role involves sample processing, inventory management, equipment maintenance, and cross-functional coordination while ensuring protocol compliance and data confidentiality. This is a part-time, variable-hour position with potential for full-time conversion.
Responsibilities
- Manage biological sample handling, processing, preparation, inventory, and shipping
- Maintain sample management equipment and document maintenance records
- Coordinate with external vendors including couriers and central laboratories
- Report procedural deviations and communicate sample management status to operations teams
- Generate sample management reports and assist in resolving data queries
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- College degree and related work experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with customer service focus
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and SOPs preferred
Compensation: $18.35 - $24.00 per hour
