Die Setter

Overview Consider joining the Pennex family as a Die Setter in our Leetonia, OH location. This position is responsible for preparing and setting up tooling from extrusion schedule to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity by performing the following duties: Responsibilities Ensures enough dies are in the die ovens at each press based upon production schedule Transfers die to and from inventory system Recycles failed dies quickly Places dies in caustic solution to clean them of aluminum residue Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent Experience Experience in manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment Willingness to work in a variety of settings, including indoors and outdoors, and in different weather conditions Consistently exhibits a positive, respectful attitude towards co-workers and customers Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen Must be eligible to work in the United States, visa sponsorships are not available Must have regular attendance Benefits Medical, dental and vision insurance Disability and life insurance 401(k) with matching contribution Generous allotment of paid vacation and paid holidays Competitive wages plus performance-based bonus opportunities Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Ongoing training and professional development Ample opportunity for career growth and advancement Daily pay available Inclusion & EEO Statements Our Commitment to Inclusion: We welcome people of different backgrounds, abilities, and perspectives.
