Lead Interventional Procedures Technologist, Cath Lab

Hourly Pay Range:

$41.69 - $64.62 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position : Lead, Interventional Procedures Technician - Cath Lab
• Location : Swedish Hospital, Chicago, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time (40hrs/wk)
• Hours : Day Shift, includes rotating hours and on-call responsibility
• Required Travel: None

What you will need:

• License : Current Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) license and ARRT certification required
• Education : Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program required; post-graduate experience preferred
• Certification : CPR/BLS Certification required; ACLS certification required within 12 months of position start
• Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience as a technologist in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology procedures
• Skills : EKG and hemodynamic monitoring competency; demonstrated leadership, communication and teamwork skills

What you will do:

• Perform Interventional Procedures Technologist duties, while serving as a clinical and operational resource for the team
• Lead day-to-day department activities, including staff assignments, workflow coordination and supporting efficient, compassionate patient care
• Support team member development through training, coaching, feedback and serving as a resource for policies, standards and patient care procedures
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, radiation safety activities, equipment and supply management, and implementation of department policies and procedures
• Assist department leadership with staff scheduling, interviewing and onboarding new team members, performance evaluations and other departmental initiatives
